The PCSS Camden Conference Seminar class was delighted to host John Contreni, Professor Emeritus of History at Purdue University, for his lecture, 'Legacies of the First Europe: 500CE-1500CE.' Professor Contreni explained his areas of research and interest in the Carolingian period and historical manuscripts, discussed foundational concepts and themes of medieval European history, and shared his own path into college and the world of academia.
